A follow-up consultation offered after a student has completed structured literacy tutoring through the MCESC Language and Literacy Center. This service is designed to review student progress, discuss assessment and tutoring outcomes, answer questions, and determine appropriate next steps. Continued Support and Progress Consultation helps families and adult learners make informed decisions regarding ongoing literacy support, intervention, progress monitoring, and future educational planning.

Structured Literacy Tutoring (3 Hours Per Week)
High-intensity intervention that provides three hours of individualized instruction each week for 12 weeks. This option offers the greatest level of instructional support and is recommended for students requiring intensive intervention to address significant literacy needs.

Homeschool Literacy Support
Structured Literacy Tutoring for Homeschool Learners (1 Hour Per Week/12 weeks total)
Designed specifically for homeschool families, this individualized tutoring option provides one hour of weekly structured literacy instruction tailored to each student's unique learning needs. Lessons are based on assessment data and focus on building foundational literacy skills through explicit, systematic, and multisensory instruction.
Students may receive support in phonological awareness, phonics, reading fluency, spelling, vocabulary, comprehension, and written expression. This service is ideal for homeschool families seeking targeted literacy support while maintaining flexibility within their homeschool program.
Each student receives an individualized Structured Literacy Tutoring Plan that guides instruction and ensures lessons are responsive to ongoing progress and instructional needs. Regular progress monitoring allows parents to track their child's growth over time, evaluate responsiveness to instruction, and better understand how their child's literacy skills compare to grade-level expectations. Progress data and instructional recommendations are shared with families to support informed educational decision-making and help ensure students are making meaningful gains toward their literacy goals.
